Hsiayun Youth Hostel is located at 19.5 km on Northern Cross-Island Highway, with an altitude of 410 meters and coverage of 2 hectares. The place where the hostel is situated is called Hsiayun Ping, a flat ground on the riverbed of DaHan Stream. With mountains and rivers surrounding, Hsiayun Ping is a primary location for camping and barbecue. Hsiayun Youth Hostel is also named Hsiayun Adventure Education School, with a capacity of 183 people’s accommodation, 100 people’s dining, mountain training activities, stream tracing, and barbecuing. It is the best adventure education place in northern Taiwan. Often fluttering around Hsiayun Youth Hostel is clouds, mists, and sunset glow, adding to its natural allure. There are many attractions nearby, including Dasi, Cihu, LongXi Garden, LiuXia Valley and so on.
